Venice

My favourite country (without a doubt) was Italy... I loved Venice, Rome, Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii! They are all so amazing and beautiful! Bought two pairs of Italian shoes in Sorrento and two hand bags from Pisa... Looking forward to going back and spending time in the small villages outside the cities to get the real culture feeling and of course eat some great Italian food!

Greeting Dad and Tanya after 12 months
I got up bright and early like a little girl waking up to presents Santa left on Christmas morning, and headed down to Heathrow airport to pick-up dad and Tanya, after their horrible 22 hour flight from Sydney.Played the waiting game at the arrival doors with butterflies in my tummy. I finally seen dad pop his head up and little Tans beside him with her massive suitcase (god love her).
They had smiles on there face from ear ear (just like me). I ducked the rope and ran for that big hug and kiss I'd been waiting for months. It was so nice to see them!

Cornwall
Newquay was lovely. The hostel was better then expected and reminded me a little of the farm huts with the bunk beds!
The first day we decided to go horse riding, which was loads of fun. My horse was called Bow :)
St Ives was a two our stop over, it reminded us a lot of the beaches/harbour in the gong. The shops were fantastic, a lot of surf shops just like home.
We also watched a show (fame) at an out door theatre set in the rocks of a hill. The views are amazing, who said England didn't have nice beaches!
