Scotland Glasgow

Last weekend we travelled to Scotland for a wedding we stayed on a beautiful Island near Glasgow.

They had a ala cart reception with close family and friends (which included us) and then they change the reception into a disco where more friends and family were invited to join in the celebrate (a buffet meal is provided).

On the Saturday morning of the wedding it was -3 we were wearing high heels so feet were frozen, I had to go back to my room and put socks on for half an hour till they warmed up.

Scotland is beautiful, we had a great weekend, everyone is very friendly and liked talking to the 'Aussie Girls'. I'm looking forward to going back for the tourist sight seeing.

We discovered what a Scotsman wears under his kilt!!!!

Amanda's cousin and his wife took us back to there house on Sunday and then drove us to the airport, his wife is Australian from Melbourne. They were lovely and even offered us to stay with them when we go back.

Paris

Bonjour,

Paris is beautiful have been eating loads of french pastries (creme volae was my favourite) and drinking french wine.

Wednesday night we went out for dinner at a lovely french restaurant with some friends from London over looking the Eiffel Tower. We did order snails, however they never arrived.

Thursday I went and seen the Arc De Triomphe and walked down Champs Elysees, the shopping was fantastic I bought a pair of black sexy shoes and a Morgan hand bag. I found a lovely pair of Channel Sunglasses, unfortunately they were a little out of my budget hehe.

Thursday night we went up the Eiffel Tower at sun set and looked down over thousands of white buildings, as it got darker the buildings became pretty sparkling city lights (it was breath taking). When we got to the bottom of the Tower it sparkled like a Christmas tree (it was beautiful).

Friday went to Disneyland Paris for my birthday and seen mickey mouse! My favourite was Fantacyland where we went through 'Its a small world' and went on the 'Mad Hatters Tea Cups'. We also went on some exciting rides in Adventureland like Pirates of the Caribbean (it was fantastic).

Buckingham Palace

It is difficult to speak adequately or justly of London. It is not a pleasant place; it is not agreeable, or cheerful, or easy, or exempt from reproach. It is only magnificent.

London

Having a great time here in London, we have been to many tourist attractions like the tower of London (which was amazing to hear how the kings and queens lived from 1066 and seen the queens jewels). London Bridge. Went on the London eye. Seen the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and also did a tour through the inside (that place has 78 bathrooms and about three hundred bedrooms, as if you would need to use all them at once) The palace was amazing. We have also been shopping at Harrods (can't express that place in words, its like a girls dream heaven)

Have done some great shopping (but watching my penies). Bought a jacket from the city was £50 down to £19.99
We are starting plans for Paris in two weeks, if all goes well we will be there for my birthday!

I called Carmen but unfortunatly we didn't get to catch up with her as we feel asleep, we were so disappointed in ourselves (that flight was a long one).
